The Sushi-Do Way

A Story of Passion, Culture and Respect for Japanese Tradition.

We are a family passionate with Japanese culture - a journey that began long before we ever opened the doors of our restaurant.

Our connection with Japan was born through karate-do, the martial art of the "empty hand," which has been a constant presence in our lives.

This path taught us more than discipline and perseverance - it introduced us to a way of life grounded in values like respect, harmony, and the pursuit of perfection. Today, these same principles guide everything we do at Sushi-Do.

Learning from the Source

Our culinary journey was sparked by humility and curiosity. We traveled to Japan to learn from true masters and inmerse ourselves in the culture from within. There, we did not just learn how to cook - we came to understand the deeper meaning of washoku: a cuisine that honors its ingredients, values precision, and is rooted in the careful transmission of knowledge and tradition.

every lesson, every recipe, every gesture we absorbed in Japan became the foundation of what we offer today at Sushi-Do

The essence of Washoku

The soul of our cuisine

Washoku is more than a style of cooking - it is a way of life. Grounded in balance, seasonal awareness, and harmony of flavors, it reflects a true appreciation for nature and tradition.

To cook washoku is to create beauty and evoke emotion through food. It is nourishment not only for the body but also for the soul.

At Sushi-Do, we embrace this philosophy with carefully selected ingredients, precise techniques, and a profound connection to our own story. We do not aim to reinvent Japanese cuisine - we strive to honor it with every dish we serve.

A Meaningful Experience

Since opening Sushi-Do in 2013, our goal has been to share a meaninful experience with everyone who walks through our doors - or chooses to take a piece of Japan home.

Every dish from our kitchen is the result of years of training, genuine respect for tradition, and a strong love for the culture that inspires us.

Our culinary offering is, above all, an expression of gratitude: to our teachers, our Japanese friends, our family, andto everyone who trusts us to bring the authentic taste ot Japan to their table.

Sushi-Do is our path. Thank you for being part of our journey.
